Payment

A non-refundable deposit of $150 will be required to book your training sessions. This deposit will be applied to the agreed-upon payment for your training. The remaining amount of training is due before your first session. All remaining payments should be paid in full for the entire package discussed by the first session. Once sessions have begun prorated refunds will not be issued. 

Scheduling and Cancelation Policy In-Home Sessions

All training sessions are tailored around each client’s availability. Before sessions are booked, the client approves all dates and times. Once booked, session reminders are sent out each week via text and email.

Because sessions are booked months in advance, it can be challenging to reschedule sessions. While I try to keep sessions consecutive, rescheduled sessions will be done based on the earliest availability.

Cancelations within 72 hours of a session will be subject to a $55 rescheduling fee. If additional cancelations occur (2), all cancelations will be subject to a $55 rescheduling fee regardless of when notice is given. If more than two cancelations occur (3+), canceled sessions will no longer be eligible for rescheduling. Refunds for private sessions will not be given after sessions have begun.

All illnesses must result in one of the three below options:

  • Canceled session
  • Rescheduled session subject to the $55 rescheduling fee
  • The session can be turned into a virtual session and held at its scheduled time

If notice of illness or needing to reschedule is not provide prior to the start of the session, the session will result in a canceled session and will not be rescheduled.

Scheduling and Cancelation Policy Single Sessions

For single session require the full payment in order to reserve your session. Rescheduling within 72 hours of a session will be subject to a $55 rescheduling fee. Cancelations will have a 50% refund. 

Scheduling and Cancelation Policy Group Sessions

Group sessions are available to past or current clients only. Sessions are held on Saturdays. Sessions must be paid for to reserve a spot at the time of booking. Cancelations within 72 hours of the start of the session will not be refunded.

Scheduling and Cancelation Policy Virtual Sessions

Virtual Coaching Sessions are $95 for a 45 min Zoom call. This amount is due in order to book your virtual session and is non-refundable. Cancelations needing to be rescheduled within 72 hours of a session will be subject to a $40 rescheduling fee. If additional cancelations occur (2), all cancelations will be subject to a $40 rescheduling fee regardless of when notice is given. If more than three cancelations occur, canceled sessions will no longer be eligible for rescheduling. Refunds for cancellations or no-shows (by the client) will not be given.

Scheduling and Cancelation Policy For Group Programs

Group programs will be in-person programs held at the discussed location for the sessions. A non-refundable deposit of $150 will be required to reserve your spot in the program. This deposit will be applied to the agreed-upon payment for your training. The remaining amount is due a month before the first session. Cancelations within seven days to start the program will not be refunded. Partial payment will not be given if classes are missed.

Proper Paws holds the right not to allow dogs that show severally reactive or aggressive behaviors to continue within the programs as it will not be beneficial to the reactive dog or the other dogs around that. Dogs that show severely reactive or aggressive behaviors may be asked to no longer participate in the group program. If a dog is asked to no longer participate in the program, money will not be refunded but instead applied to other training options (virtual coaching or in-home, depending on owner’s home location) that will be provided. If the owner chooses not to accept the provided alternative options, payment for the program will not be refunded.
